This is by way of an introduction to ATG new blog page it is intended that trainees at the centre and others will have an input into the material on this page we hope that trainees will participate by posting up information on some of the new skills that they have learnt and life generally from with in the workshop. ABRASIVE WHEEL COURSE – DECEMBER 2019
We are currently taking bookings for the above course.
The 1/2 day course is to be held at our premises on WEDNESDAY 18 DECEMBER 2019 from 9:00 am—12:30 pm.
This training course offers operators of abrasive wheels from all types of industry the opportunity to be trained to the requirements of PROVISION & USE of WORK EQUIPMENT REGULATIONS (PUWER), including practical training.
The cost of the above course is £75 + VAT per person.
We can also hold courses in company and on other dates if required.

We are currently taking bookings for our full 3 day First Aid at Work course.
The course will run on MONDAY 16—WEDNESDAY 18 DECEMBER 2019 at our centre. The course runs from 9.00 am—4.00 pm. The cost of the course is £210.00 plus VAT per person
This course offers personnel requiring training to become Certificated First Aiders for the purposes of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

One of our Instructors will be attending 2 presentations in the afternoon at Inverbrothock Primary School, as part of the school’s week long Careers Fair for P7s to hopefully inspire the pupils and let them know some of the opportunities available in the area and perhaps get them thinking about apprenticeships in engineering in their futures.

We are running the 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course on MONDAY 28 OCTOBER 2019.
The cost of the course is £100 plus VAT per person and runs from 9.00 am—4.00 pm.
This course provides basic First Aid instruction for persons required by their employer to act as the appointed person responsible for the immediate response to a First Aid emergency, in circumstances where there are no qualified First Aiders.

Our first year apprentices finish with us on Friday 5 July and go back to their respective companies on Monday 8 July where they will continue to be monitored by our Instructors until completion of their apprenticeships. We wish them all the best in the rest of their apprenticeships and beyond.
