This is by way of an introduction to ATG new blog page it is intended that trainees at the centre and others will have an input into the material on this page we hope that trainees will participate by posting up information on some of the new skills that they have learnt and life generally from with in the workshop.  It is hoped that this will inspire others to take up the challenge and take up a rewarding career in Engineering.

CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS

We will be closed for the festive period from Monday 22 December – Friday 2 January (inclusive).  We will re-open on Monday 5 January at 8.00 am.

Dundee & Angus College will be closed Wednesday 24 December – Tuesday 6 January (inclusive), returning Wednesday 7 January.

North East Scotland College will be closed Monday 22 December – Friday 2 January (inclusive), returning Monday 5 January.

Forth Valley College will be closed Monday 22 December – Friday 2 January (inclusive), returning Monday 5 January.

ABRASIVE WHEELS COURSE – WEDNESDAY 10 DECEMBER 2014

We are currently taking bookings for the above course.

The 1/2 day course is to be held at our premises on Wednesday 10 DECEMBER 2014 from 9.00 am—12.30 pm.

We can also hold courses in-company and on other dates if required.

This training course offers operators of abrasive wheels from all types of industry the opportunity to be trained to the requirements of PROVISION & USE of WORK EQUIPMENT REGULATIONS (PUWER).

The cost of the above course is £50 + VAT per person. Discounts may apply for multiple bookings.

AED (De-fib) Course 28th November 2014

We are running the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) course on FRIDAY 28 NOVEMBER 2014 9.00 am—12.30 pm.

The cost of the course is £70 plus VAT per person and is a half day course running from 9.00 am—12.30 pm.

This course provides instruction for persons required by their employer to be trained in how to operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). AED’s are proven to save lives and with heart attacks occurring at a rate of appx. 1 every 2 minutes, can be invaluable. No previous first aid experience is required for this course.
