CNC OPERATOR/PROGRAMMING
TURNING, MILLING
ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE /
ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY
AND
OTHER SPECIALISED AREAS


plus attendance at appropriate Further Education
2nd Year STAGE 2
Unit training system consisting of

DESIGN PRINCIPLES
MANUFACTURING
PRACTICES
COMMERCIAL PRACTICES
PRODUCTION PLANNING
AND CONTROL
COMMUNICATION
3rd Year Range of support units leading to evetual specialisation in one or more areas,largely determined by person's aptitude and ability, plus attainment of an appropriate further education qualification
Final in-Company training to develop skills in chosen trade 4th Year
LEADS TO   LEADS TO
Fully skilled Modern Apprentice to a Nationally recognised SEMTA standards SVQ Level III   Fully Qualified Technician Engineer to a Nationally recognised SEMTA standards SVQ Level III or IV

Applicants who are successful at this stage may be invited to an interview at the company in which they would like to be employed, or alternatively at a company where suitable employment is available.
